OfflineMay we ALL

I also must give the most credit to my wonderful wife who taught me to shoot at the age of 62 and encouraged my interest.
May we all be so blessed.
Some time ago, my wife "suggested" I limited my "collection" to about 20. Now that I have several times that, she only complains of the mess I leave when digging one out. She has limited herself to 3.

OfflineHello, if anyone could help me I'd sure appreciate it. I've got a dan wesson i got from my father, its a 357 made in Monson. The serial number is 6 digits long only numbers, no letters. I have looked everywhere but come up empty handed. I'm looking for information on the serial number like date of mfg, etc. It has a 6in interchangeable rib vented barrel on it. It is missing the grip which I would like to find the original that goes on it. Everything I have found shows an alpha numeric serial which mine does not have. Thank you in advance for any help or information someone could offer.

OfflineSounds like you have a Model 15, 15-1 or most probably a 15-2. Pics would really help us figure it out. Is the rear sight adjustable or is it fixed?
The early 15's only had numeral serial numbers. Our Serial Number Registry should get us close to the year of manufacture.
Most likely, your revolver came with a Target grip and can be found on eBay.
