John, very nice pic.  I picked up  VH6 and VH8 barrels (shroud, barrel, and nut) for a 722 at a show earlier this year for $80 each.  I was very happy with that deal.

Here's a few pictures of my 445 SuperMag.

Not mine but found it on the net, by the markings it is a Bob Serva Norwich gun.

a smith buddy of mine sent it and my delta elite out for the hardchrome.  I seem to remember it was either metalife or metalloy.  not sure which, just remember the metal part...hehe.  I am totally pleased with both as it gets wet up here and I was trying to avoid surface rust.  it did the trick nicely.  here's the delta...

This is actually now my son's pistol, I gave it to him for his birthday (after I bought a replacement one for me). Funny thing is, I owned this for 30 years, and never bought any barrels, grips, or other goodies. Now I have 3 barrels, several front sights, a Hogue grip, and that is probably not the end of the insanity.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Guys here is some pictures of a Palmer fixed barrel stainless 357.  The description of this gun says its a 5" not sure if that's true.

sdrct - I picked up a fiber optic sight like yours...but, have a question..... if mounted as you have done, won't the sharp edge of the sight drag and score the inside of the holster? One can mount it either way...is there a correct way/

Thanks~!

The fiber sight is installed correctly you want to see the dot on that end of it. Do you have a DW sight or one off of Ebay? The sights have a front and back lay out the original sight and the fiber sight next to each other, the way it is cut out to go in the frame is not simetrical front and back. The cutout in the front where the set screw contacts it is larger then in the back.

Hope this helps and yes the taller sights are harder on the holster.

My sight is the one from CZ, and I believe it is mounted correctly, but I'll check next time I have it out. The way I mounted it looked correct, and has the best look IMO. Handles and shoots great, I prefer the Hogues for this barrel length, and the speedloaders are a little easier to handle with the Hogues. I'm also going to try the small grip that came with my 722, I think it should work too.
