I decided to post this here as it is a repeat gun, but i bought the magazine off the Ebay crowd and thought it would look cool to add to it's stainless brother of the next generation.

Here's my 15-2.  It's a Monson gun ser#350XXX.   It came originally as a fixed sight gun, but the previous owner added a millet adjustable rear and a new front sight as well. The Millet is down just about as far as it will go so it will be getting new sights sometime soon.  It came with a Pachmayr Presentation grip, but they tend to feel too small in my hands.  So it now sports a DWA target grip that I found in the bin at one of the local gun shops for $5!

The rear sight sounds interesting. Does it shoot to POA, or does it still need to be able to go down further?

Here's a closer up pic of the rear sight.  It still shoots a little high with the rear all the way down I just have to stick with a little more than six o'clock hold for now.

Whoever did that, really didn't like the idea of fixed sights. Or maybe the gun originally came with a different barrel, with a shorter front sight...so he made this rear fit, to go with the new front one.

If only that gun could talk, we'd get to the bottom of this.lol2

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

as far as the sigline, John Hunter kind of got me turned on to playing with brightness and contrast for a dramatic effect.

That red one was my first (unsuccessful) attempt at a calendar entry, it needs some work.

Guys:

Now that we have a great new place for all of our pictures, I'm going to lock this topic. It remains a permanent part of Dan Wesson Forum, some of the pictures are irreplaceable, and a part of Dan Wesson history.

Please go to DWF PICTURES for new posts, and as always, keep the pictures coming.

Steve
