OfflineThat's true, sure makes the scope more usuable. Unless the bell or power adjusting knob is too close. This 2X20 Nikon is a real PIA because of huge eye piece bell. The 2-6X32 Nikon would not fit with the same mount and rings. I had to take this 2x20 from my Contender 10mm barrel and then put the 2-6x32 on the Contender. The mount is Weigand by the way. I still might sell the 2x20 Nikon, I wanted 2-6 or at least a 4x scope on the 744 for 50 to 100 yard shooting, but will probably put it on the M-22 which doesn't have a scope.

OfflineThank you Waldo. That's just what I was looking for. Now to see how my silver Leupold EER scopes look on the beautiful DW blueing. Stainless rings or blue??

I tried to convince my wife that I needed a pair of stainless DWs to match the scopes but that didn't fly. She knows what the pistols cost, glad she didn't ask what the scopes cost 🙂

OfflineNot sure how it would look, some like the blue and silver look. I've never really give it much thought, but why not they do two tone guns.
