Next June SCOTUS is going to change the way such states operate. At least as far as conceal carry is concerned. SHALL issue will be the law of the land instead of MAY issue. Hopefully the other laws abridging the right to keep and bear arms will be addressed at some point. Some folk are deciding to move to the Great State of Florida where Ron DeSantis protects our rights. Right Nancy? Pelosi is moving to Florida. What a hoot. Wait until she sees all the SAVE AMERICA AGAIN, TRUMP 2024 yard signs.

I still see more Trump signs all over my area now (steady since last fall) than I ever saw for the a$$wipe during the election!!!!!!!! No way he won my state. Voter rolls never purged for years, and taking ballots at least a week past in postmarks. Bet there will be another pandemic next year so mail in voting will be persuaded for the masses.

First off...Andrew, wow, that's quite a catch, you're golden! Congrats!
Second off...regarding some of the recent posts, "Let's GO Brandon", there is no way that election was legally achieved. Not for a second. Seriously I doubt I will never believe any evidence of that one being real & honest...ever. Neither will I believe that there were "only 200~ish Americans left in Afghanistan when that idiot decided to do what he did...what a total TOOLBAG!!! There are thousands still there!! Grrr...

Here she is! Overall in good condition except the cylinder chambers were fairly leaded. Had to scrub the shit out of them.
I tried one of those clamp on scope mounts from eBay but not working out so that was a waste of $50.

Trigger is smooth too. I might install the 8 pound wolf spring and see if it’s still reliable.
So it looks like to clean the fouling off the outside of the cylinder just use some CLP on a bronze brass brush and it wipes right off. This is my first blued revolver

Only other weird thing I noticed was that it appears the rifling ends (uniformly) towards the last 1/8" or so of the barrel. Kinda hard to photograph. Maybe that’s what they did with these long barrels.

Some other guys on the DW Facebook group said their 15" muzzle looks like that. So I guess it’s normal.

I wonder why or what the benefit is? Hopefully one of the guru's here can school me on this. I always thought the end was the most important area of rifling in the barrel as it was the last part to touch the projectile before it entered open air.

I hope you DW collectors are sitting down…
I just shipped the shroud to Bob at DW to be drilled and tapped for a scope mount. Hey at least I’ll have an invoice showing it was done at the factory..albeit many years after the shroud was made😂
And wasn’t done by some hack in his basement.
I got too much money into this gun to not enjoy it by not shooting it. I buy guns to shoot them. To each their own of course.
