Local gun shop has ano idea of value and neither do I, and since he's a friend he ask me to find out value. It's never been fired, no scratches I noted.

The reason I ask is was thinking about buying to hold untill I found a blued M-22, but if value more then $50 I will pass and post dealers number.  So what something like that worth?

This same dealer has maybe 100 or more DW patches, tools out wazoo for 357, 44, and maybe couple other calibers. Also has a bunch of those big shrouds that you attach weights to in 357 and maybe other calibers most are engraved with ISPA (?), he has 3 of the 2" barrels of 32 caliber, think there was one 6" barrel in 41 caliber and one in 44 or 45 caliber, a new 22 SS cylinder with ejector and the crane also I belive.

I brought the 32 caliber barrels home to clean up and make sure they were not rusted an pitted under their coate of dust and crap, I thought they were 38 caliber, I went to clean the first one and disciovered they were not 38, well so much for a 2" 38n barrel. Of the three barrels, two were fine, but one appears rust pitted.

If he has stuff that cheap, I would love his number... I can use that 22 cylinder and the big shrouds.  And if they are the old DWA patches, I'd like some of those also.

Do I get to jump in front of the line? Cool Just kidding...

Waldo, I'm sure we can move most of your friends inventory if it is priced appropriately.  As for the 2.5" Barrel Assembly in 358/357 would go for $100 to $125 depending on shroud type.

If you want see if you can get us a list of items he has...

Edit by Admin: Removed Alan's contact info so that he has time to inventory his items and ready them for sale.  We don't want folks bombarding him with request before he's ready.

Thanks Waldo for posting the lead and Alan thanks for joining the forum.

He hasn't hasn't went through these two boxes of "stuff" and made a list, I was just going by memory of what I saw while digging through the stuff. He has "bunches" of the plastic barrel tools that he would really like to get them sold because of being so many in 357 still in unopened pack's. I'm not sure of what other callibers he had if any in those.I told him not to expect much for those as I doubted they would bring more then $10 for one of those packs. However I not sure home many barrels that was there, I only remember seeing two or three besides the three I brought home to clean.

Speaking of the three I brought home, the barrel's are 2.25" long and are 32 caliber, that means the shroud would only be about 1.75" long, not 2.5" IIRC that the 38/357 barrels. I do believe there was what we believe was a 41 caliber 6" barrel and I seem to remember one of the shrouds was marked .445 caliber. Now don't hold me to this but I thing there was a Supermag barrel with the fancey cut away shroud that woud show a barrel.

There was a complete new cylinder and crane for a 722 that or there was just a SS crane in the box, also remer seeing a shroud that was engraved as PD property, seems like the only complete B&S assembly was a blued 22 in 2" and was really nice. I thoughtr about buying it for a furture 22 in blue, but desided the odds of finding a nice 22 in blue was not worth buying.

Allen is not there today, but I did talk to them.   Seems like  a box of stuff that was for building original Pacs-- chunks of foam, wrenches, patches, etc.  He said there are a few barrels in there, but they haven't really gone through it yet.  3 Boxes....
