A DW small frame is really easy gun to take apart and put back together. I did it the first day I bought one in 1977 without any problems. I gave it a good clean and inspection and went to the range which was about 3/8 of a mile from my house and shot it. Only problem was a clipped mainspring causing light primer strikes. A buck for a new one at the range had it shooting great.
