I have a new DW 715 .357 stainless steel, and used CLP to clean it. Still have gun powder residue on the cylinder. Can anyone give me some advice? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks much in advance.
p.s.: Someone just advised me to use a brass brush. What does anyone think? You cannot be too basic with me. I know nothing, but I am a quick study.

If you're wanting to get the powder residue off the face of your stainless cylinder, Flitz does an excellent job! I would recommend removing the cylinder from the crane, so you can make sure to clean out any polish that may work it's way into the center hole.

When I had a stainless 22LR revolver, I used Birchwood Casey lead remover cloth to get off the built up powder residue. They make quick work of the cylinder and it will look like new.
