Screws are normally measured from under the screw head, andÂ I believe the correct lengths will be 1 1/2" for the standard grips and 1 1/4" for the service grips. Although my memory could be all "screwed" up screwy . Yes pun intended.

P.S.Â Â It's an 8-32 screw by the way.
