I am afriad that most all are not made here including medallions on new DW 1911's.laughing

Hmmm...I knew there was another reason I don't own a CZ 1911 besides merely being broke.lol2  I'm with Steve on this one. I'd rather exhaust all possibilities of having some made here in the states, before caving in & going with a Chinese made medallion.

It's the principal of the thing.wink

My pre-CZ 1911 may possibly have Chinese medallions, if so-that's life. I know my Monson revolvers are all American, I suspect any Palmer will be as well

I repeat, I am not under any circumstances KNOWINGLY putting any foreign (not just Chinese) parts on any of my DW's. I have original DW grips for every revolver I own, and I have no problem using aftermarket grips, and KNOW my aftermarket grips are American.

FYI- I spent a fair amount of time looking into new manufacture medallions, too much money involved in die set-up, minimum manufacturing run, etc.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
