I have a stainless 38 VH 3 inch bbl rear adjustible sight with the serial numberÂ 38 S 00XXXXÂ Monson..Â Inside cylinder area is stamped with an S..Â no other markings..Â Any one run across this modelÂ ?Thanks BW

Possibly:

738P (38Sp +P) â also referred to as the Lilâ Dan.

If it's a 5 shot cylinder it's a 738.Â Â If it's a 6 shot, Fixed Rear notch sight, it's a Model 708.Â Â If it a rear adjustable sight, it's a Model 709(?)

Good to know, I just updated my notes I am building on all of the various DW models. Â Iâm building my own database about all of the models. Â I started with the info available here on DWF, but have been adding information like this to mine to flesh it out. Â Thanks for sharing!

If it has a 3" barrel and rear adjustable sight, most likely the 709.Â Send us some cool-pics .
