The instruction book is dated 5/79. The authorized warranty repair station document is dated 1 April 1981. The gun is in a Styrofoam container with an outer cardboard cover that holds it together. The revolver has a 6 inch barrel mounted on it and a 4 inch barrel wrapped in bubble wrap inside the container. Inside the container is the barrel changing tool, which consists of red handle duel end Allen wrench on each side and the barrel wrench in the middle of the red handle and also includes a .006 feller gage and a yellow washer made of plastic. There is a brown paper envelope that holds a sealed tune-up kit from Bullseye shooting aids marked as Spring Kit # 12. Fits Dan Wesson 357 Cal Revolvers. I bought this gun from a coworker many years ago. It has been shot, but not much. I don’t know that the barrel has ever been changed. The gun looks very good. I do not know much about the history of the gun except that he got it new and I am the second owner. I have a Model 66 that I shoot all the time but I have never shot this gun yet. I do not know what year this gun was made but I am including all the information I currently have. |
