My personal thanks to Wheelgunner, ParaNormal, and ese927 for their support of the Dan Wesson Forum as Dan's Club Members.
I hope each you will step in here to tell us more about you and your shooting life, and especially your Dan Wesson "connection"
Every now and again, I offer up a quote the title of an old Grateful Dead song
" What a Long Strange Trip It's Been"
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Well, Steve, you sure you wanna here a hillbilly ramble?...hehe. You know I'm from Kentucky, you are never an ex-Marine, CPT. 2nd Recon. have done all types of work, Just recently let my electrical license expire. I can't climb ladders no more. I worked in a garage, I have been a real estate appraiser, machine operator at Black N Decker, a father of 7. A long time distance shooter... Thats why I was Recon... a school bus driver til almost 3 yrs ago when I tore my foot up.. I grew up on a small farm... For the past 10 yrs I have been mostly into gunsmithing and armorer. Granddad was a Treasury Agent, Father became a LEO and Mother worked Central Dispatch for City of Louisville... I love my motorcycle though I still can't ride yet, and might never again unfortunately, and I been shooting and ridin' since I'm like 5.... The woman who became my wife and the lovely mother of my children bought me a Dan Wesson I had been admiring as a hunting pistol, new in 1978, a Christmas gift. I love this wheel gun more than any in my vault. Came as a 15-2 8VH & 6VH and she added a 10VH for me to hunt. I wanted to by more but a soldiers don't hardly make enough to support a family let alone a man's uh' vices. I stumbled accidently on to DWF in late 2013, searching for parts to an old neighbors Dan. Finally joined in April 2014. I belong to some other gun forums, but this is a home base site... I had been supporting some then finally at a new friends encouragement from CT... I became a Dan's Club Member... I reckon I will as long as I'm able... Not a better forum on the Web....
