What model is this? Super "chunky slab" barrel.

I have been struggling to find another example of this revolver to verify what model I have. Any help identifying it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm guessing you are wondering more about the barrel assembly than anything else...I believe they were made by EWK Arms and you can find more about them by looking over yonder under EWK Arms =====>

Please take the time to visit the New Members Introduction area and tell the group about yourself and your revolver.

Yes, they WERE made by EWK in the various lengths. I don' tthink Eric has made them in a while. They are quite collectable until he makes more. Like a Ruger not made anymore until it is again.

Your gun is a mod. 14-2 - there is no rear sight on it other than the v notch in the frame.  That vented barrel assy. goes to a mod. 15-2.  And that barrel assy. attached to the frame is made by EWK which he calls an EH assy.

Thank you for the great information everyone!

I am considering selling it. Any idea what sort of a price I should start at? It's not "mint" by any means, but is in what I'd call "good-used" condition. If it had a target rear sight I'd be much more interested in shooting and keeping it.

How about visiting New Members and introduce yourself first?

If you end up selling- consider splitting it up.  There will be POA issues in the current configuration due to front sight heights and the fixed rear of the 14-2 frame.  The barrel assemblies can fetch $150 or better on an auction site and the frame may get the same on GB- although it's a little less desirable than a 15-2 with an adjustable rear sight.

Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....
