I am making a road trip to the CZ (Dan Wesson) factory in Norwich, NY this Friday to pick up 2 new barrels for my 15-2 V, a 2-1/2" and a 6" to complete my "PAC", although it will not be an original.  I asked about a tour of the factory and it may just happen! Anybody want to tag along?

That would be way to cool. Don't forget to take lots of pics for the rest of us guys who are just to far away for such a trip.

Hey Jaggman,

That sounds really exciting nothing like getting new toys plus a tour of the factory on top of it.

We are definitely expecting pictures!  If you get to speak with Keith tell him he needs to join the forum!

Keep us posted!

That would be awesome to be able to tour the facilities. If I was about 14 states closer, I would take you up on your offer to tag along.Laugh

Let us know how it goes.Cool

Drool Well I made the trip. I met Keith but he was VERY camera shy.  I'll post the pics over the weekend. Everyone was very hospitable. I left my 15-2 V with Keith as he thought the cylinder was a bit "sloppy" with some play between the crane and back of the frame (I'm sure there is a name for that aprt of the gun).

Very cool link Charger.

Not AT ALL what I expected.  As they said in the post "very New York Stateish"...I might even amend that to say "very Adirondack-ish"  ...but mighty cool no matter how you say it!!

Looking forward to the road trip photos from Jaggman.

What Dusty and Jody said   laughing...

I was expecting a brick or concrete  block structure, with an open machine shop like 20,000 Sq. feet... not shoe horned into a log building... but hey.. if it  works.. and it keeps the overhead down.. that's a plus..  or it should be anyway..

I can see, from the size of the crew why Keith is selective on what he does.. how he has to allocate his resources...

Loved seeing the pictures of the crew and front desk folks.

I have been by the factory many time. I stoped one day and it was just past closing time.

There are 2 Morton steel buildings where all the machine work is done. They are not all that big. The log cabin is the office space. It's set in the hill a little and if you blink you will pass by the factory and miss it.
