I noticed the rear sight retaining fastener cool  screw thingy, on my small frame wouldn't lock down. Its tiny, so I looked under magnification, and it's cracked. Without getting into a novel, I just wanna ask a question. I was assuming that this needed to be loosened in order to move the windage adjustment. Is this correct?

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I had to ask broken-computer    Well now I know. Thanks for the answer.mad  smile  I saw your other response and  it was seeming like this screw is tough to get, cause I started looking, until I decided to get a tiny screw and spin it in my screwgun and file off some threads. It seemed to work really well, until I put the blade in. I found the thing had bent just a little and wouldnt line up with its mating surface on the blade. It wouldnt lock down, but was really close. I guess I will try to straighten it or make a new one. I asked the question because if the windage moved while this was tight, I would just locktite it. I can't check myself cause it won't lock down. BTW I tried a few rounds of a  load of Trail Boss,  3.75 gr with a 158swc. It was good in my SW gun with a lazer. The DW was like a lazer dwf-sign
