Hey guys, I recently purchased a 4" model 15 Porkchop. I'm ready to start shopping for a holster(s). Obviously, most holster companies don't list DW on their gun list. What gun make/model should I be looking for? Does the "chop" cause any issues?

At this time I haven't decided what type of holster I want. I know this gun is a bit large to CC, but I think I could make it work with the right rig.

I'm not afraid to spend some money for quality work, so don't hold anything back.

I have a brigade gun leather holster for mine you may have to wait for about a year but it is worth it I will post pics later.

My standard response to this question for any revolver larger than a J frame is always the same.

Simply Rugged Sourdough Pancake
If you want to carry IWB you can get it with IWB loops (I modified mine with steel spring clips). I know guys that carry 4" S&W N Frames in these IWB so your DW will be fine (mine is a model 14 snubbie but it carries very comfortably).

Anyway, Simply Rugged makes good leather that lives up to its name (its simple, its rugged) and I happen to like the oxblood color (I don't think he does any other colors). They're well priced and his turnaround time isn't too bad.

Actually I'm considering ordering a Silver Dollar Pancake for the J frame I just picked up too.

Well I saw kansas and derby figured a new member here. I have thought about excaping though to much invested to run now! Maybe in 6 years or so.Â
Do you ever get back this way?  I just dodge the Tornadoes and keep the AC on full blast for the humdity!

We come back at thanksgiving each year ... we miss the heat and humidity and are early enough to miss the fun winter weather in western KS.
