Shoot it, these, at least most came out with a dull finish, the 15-2's had the high polish on them and deep blue.  The 14-2 is an all around great piece and the one you have has tons of life left in it.

Clean it up and shoot it!

Hey If I missed it Welcome, look around tons of info on here about DWA and members collections is one you need to check out.

That is a GREAT looking gun. Like was said, it's got a ton of character. If it shoots great, it's still a great gun.

Looks like it has some fine character to it, I wouldn't hesitate to let it do what it was born to do...range-time

Welcome to the DWF.

Shoot it (and care for it) but don't expect it to ever fall apart.

If you're going to shoot it till it falls apart, you have a LOT of shooting ahead of you. Outside of ridiculous abuse, I don't think anyone here has actually shot one until it just wore out.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

No Way ! Can't believe the reponse on this. You won't need fancy grips

or an extra heavy barrel or a fiber optic sight to shoot this gun either !

Send it to DWF member Hotbluer (Mark Waldo) for $95 get it back and

then shoot the heck out of it, you'll be much happier. wink

I would check it out real well first. If you don't know how; read this tread:

https://www.danwessonforum.com/forum/revolvers/revolver-checkout-how-to-tell-if-a-particular-specimen-is-any-good/

If it checks out OK, I would shoot it. I would later re-blue it and put some nice grips on it. L.B. makes some really nice ones.
