Thanks to LBCustom and EWK I can play dress up with my 15-2 and frankly, it looks smokin'.
I received a Bolivian Rosewood, LB Special from Lawrence, carved, but not finished. I took a little time fine tuning it to fit my mitts then finished it in an English Red spirit dye and two coat of Deft Danish oil finish.
Eric supplied the bits for the 'nose job' in the form of a 4"EH barrel assembly and FO front sight.
I'm very happy with the products and service provided by both.
I think the ol' 15-2 now has an 'Elegant' yet brutish look to it now.

That is an absolutely beautiful revolver, one of the nicest 15-2 4" I've ever seen!
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

The older I get the more I like shorter and shorter barrels. Thats definately a good looking gun, and I think you described it well. Whats even better ... You its gonna shoot as good as it looks!

Thanks, guys! I must say, the photo helps its appearance quite a bit. The frame of the gun could use a good re-bluing. At some point I'll send it off to get done.
I really like the proportions and the balance of the gun is great with this setup.
I guess now it's a Dan(SweeneyEWKLBCustom)Wesson 15-2.

Yeah, that 4" looks really good. Just confirms that if Eric gets them back in stock, I'll probably have to order one.
