Excuse me if I have the nomenclature incorrect, but the swing out arm, that's the Crane, right ?
Now, on a 744 that I saw last week, there seems to be a large qty or very small holes, like it was made that way. They were on the rounded surface, and the flat angled surface just above it towards the opening-latch.
Seems like it wouldn't affect operation or reliability at all.
Just wondering if this was common (or too common) on some 744's in the past...
