Im working to buy a set of pachmayr grips a guy is claiming to be for a large frame but it has a square hole for tang...is there something I am missing here ?
He said they are presentation.

You are right to be sceptical. Those are the very common small frame grip. They are marked sm, med, and large I think denoting hand size. That may be where the fellow is confused.
