Newer barrel/shroud on Monson 15-2?

The "357 Magnum" rollmark on a barrel/shroud I found looks italicized compared to the block script on my Monson gun's frame. Would this be a newer CZ shroud? If so, will they fit on my older Monson 15-2? Also, is the bright polish finish similar?

That does sound like a CZ style mark. And if so, it will actually be a laser etched mark, as opposed to a punched in rollmark.
The barrel definitely will fit your Monson gun & the finish should be the same...although it could possibly be darker/brighter because of the age difference from when they were blued.
