While I was already an active pistol shooter when DWs first came out it has taken me till last week to find and buy the one I wanted... Was in a big gun shop in Maine when a friend pointed out a 6" blue .22. Had the full underlug and solid rib barrel with walnut fingergroove combat grips. The price of $275.00 I knew was a steal but when the clek handed me the gun the tag said "w/4" barrel assembly"! Once found the orignal multi-toll was even there. Don't know if this was one of the original Mini-Pac guns but all I was looking for was a shooter...and it is a great shooter.
Was over on the S&W Forum a while ago and someone over there started a DW thread... One of the posters showed a stainless 8" .22 that he said was currently at DW being fitted with a .22 Magnum cylinder... Is this service still being provided?
If anyone is looking for a 8" .22 there was one also there at Kittery Trading Post, Kittery, Maine. They wanted $295.00...
