OfflineThere may "appear" to be a permanent sleeve washer once the barrel nut has been removed, but believe me, the sleeve can be removed once the barrel nut has been removed! It may be gummed up from many years of neglect, but it "will" move once appropriate force has been applied. If it were my revolver, I would just leave it as is, and be happy shooting it as is. You can check our serial number registry to determine approximate year of manufacture.
