Hello Everyone,
New to the forum and I have a question for you. I just bought my first Dan Wesson revolver. I got a 4" 744. I am hoping you could tell me what holsters this nice gun will fit into. Is it more of a S&W L frame or the N frame? I am going fly fishing in WY soon and taking it along if I can find the holster for it. Thanks a million and great forum.

I personally like the Bianchi "Cyclone" 111, cross-draw or strong side carry, triggerguard and trigger covered, secured by the top-break strap and the hammer secured and covered as well. You can usually find a few used on eBay; they often go for 15-45$. Bianchi site has the numbers of the models for specific guns. The Dan Wesson .357s are certainly bigger than a K-frame Smith but I have no idea whether the DW .44 would correspond to an L or N frame.
