OfflineThis is my first model .22. Heretofore I have collected only .357 mags. It is a Palmer, 8 VH, excellent condition. I have not gotten a chance to shoot it but the guy I got it from says it is a tack driver, FTF, no tax, no paperwork. If it was a Monson, do you think the value would have been greater? If so, how much in $$ or %.

OfflinePalmer had rumors of inferior QC on its guns. Unfounded as far as I can tell. One might argue that a Palmer gun is more rare due to the short time frame of Palmer production, so I would say equal money if equal shape. As usual, condition is the big factor in previously enjoyed firearms.

I'm with these guys, I feel that the Palmer guns are equal. 
The Monson guns in the safe actually accepted it like it was a real gun.
