OfflineHello All,
I saw a 32 H&R magnum in Blue with a 6 inch barrel and original box without the sleeve/tool. It had JD Jones 2 under the Monson address on the firearm and a very plum frame. Is there something special about this firearm? I wasn't going to buy something without making sure the barrel nut would move. The seller had never shot or taken the barrel off. It looked unfired. Thanks in advance for any comments and advice. Boats

Oh, nothing special about the gun except it has a special custom serial number. DW would do that on order. The plum color is something that happens to investment cast frames and parts. Some folks hate it,some don't mind it and some folks deteste it. Personally , I don't mind it as long as it isn't mottled ,orange or pink . And the price is right. Sideplates and shrouds are made from rolled steel and don't turn Barney(purple Dinosaur). Cylinders rarely exhibit Barney but I suspect it might be from solvent used in cleaning cylinders .
