I don't think it's a custom grip, I have seen that grip in auctions (on and off a revolver) several times.
BTW-That's a pretty nice 15-2 for someone to jump on if he don't already have one 
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
