Hello,

I stumbled onto some inexpensive $5 rings I found on eBay that so far work wonderful on my DW 22LR. I added a $52 Millet SP1 Dot Scope for a nice plinking setup for under $60 total. The rings are from a China seller ebay item #161717025537 and take about 3 weeks to arrive. I do not know the seller in any way and there are more available from other sellers. There are some rings that look very similar but I found only these will clamp with room to spare,

The rings clamp down fine with a little "daylight" showing so they are not bottoming like most 3/8" rings do and they seem to conform to the rib's shape very well. I think if you ordered 2 sets and ran 3 or 4 rings it "may" work with the big bores as the vent in the rib stops it from forward sliding (last photo).

They leave no marks to my eye but keep in mind my pistol is a shooter so I may not be as fussy. I really could not be more happy with this setup although an Ultra Dot scope would be better IMHO.

I hope this will interest someone, I will try check back and chat more in the future. I will post photos of the rings in various ring configurations on my pistol, the first photo is how I have been using it.  Cheers, Gary

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
