W12, External nut w/ 3 barrels and tool- New Old Stock

Additionally, what is "fair" price for each?

Your thoughts, please.

(BTW I have a BFR in 454 for sale- see the 4 sale topics)

Ron,

Personally for me it is no contest.  The 375 wins, looks like a box of IHMSA headstamped brass inculded and a set of dies to the left?  The dies are worth an easy $150.00  athe brass is worth about $50.00 The revolver about $600.00 to $900.00 depending on the market on GB.  Package top end, $1000.00 to $1100.00.  If you can buy it better, that is a bonus.

Easy get em both. If you have to chose I would lean towards the 375, but would hate to pass on either if the price was right. SMF priced the 375 so I will take a WAG at the model 12. Anything less than $600 is a deal and over $1000 is a bit much. Every thing in-between depends on condition. That is a wide range I realise and of course just my 2 cents.

Man, there's no denying that the 375 package sure looks good.Drool I think SMF has the value right on, too.

IMO, the W12 Pac is nice to have, even if you only get it for it's cool DW historical value. To me, the prices on those are usually a pretty darn good deal. I've seen a few go for $475~ish, although they weren't NIB. I bet that a NIB Pac would barely break the $600 mark with the way auction prices currently are. Maybe they value will go up in years to come, who knows.

If I'm definitely buying one or the other, I'd get the .375 SM.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I have to agree with the other guys, the 375 with goodies would be my pick.  Let us know what you do!

I've been leaning toward the 375 also, but... judging from the last 6 months of auction prices- I dunno.

I'll have to go all in on one or the other- I can't afford to do bothWife  or I would.

Thinking about lowering the $$s on the BFR and put the 41 up for adoption- but that doesn't guarantee anything- only that I have two fewer wheelguns...Yell dagblammit!

The .375 Ron. Those bullets are from the original run Hornady did for IHMSA, moving the cannelure 0.050" to allow proper crimping in the case and maintain OAL to fit the cylinder. Been looking for an original box of those forever.

Ron,

Waiting to see those pics as well and also the bullets.  I need educated on them since they are a special one developed for the cartridge.
