So I went to a local gun show today to look for a holster for my 15-2 with EWK's 6" BA on it, and completely struck out. So I wanted to know, have any of yall found a holster that works with Eric's massive shrouds? I could probably get one of those giant sleeve holsters to work, but I was looking for something that would keep the gun better secured while holstered.

Hadn't thought about this one!   When I have one out I will see what it will fit.  I have ysed a gun bucket which will fit anything, well almost.

also one of these would work!  i have couple with out the strap will take almost anything!

I have a feeling you're going to need a shoulder holster or some suspenders to hold up that hoss! wink

Oh you might think about a competition holster.

I was just thinking about this over the weekend. I am going to make a leather holster for my DW as soon as I get a EWK shroud but it's going to be awhile before that happens.

Thanks, I'm going to have to check out that v comp.

And I ended up having yesterday completely free, and wound up putting in about 10 hours into trying to make a holster. This is my first time trying to make a holster, and actually my first time to work with leather... so yeah, I'm not quite done with it... but I'll be sure and post pics of how bad it turns out when I finish!

Not a pancake, just a traditional cowboy-like holster with a strap across the back to keep the gun from falling out.

It wouldn't be all that difficult, except I couldn't find any good leather, so I ended up piecing the holster together with lots of different scraps of leather into 3 different layers. So far I have all the layers stitched into one piece, but still need to mold the leather around the gun before everything is stitched together for good.

Shouldn't be too much more work, but I don't get back in the country until Saturday night, so I've got to wait until then to finish everything up.

Nope not yet. Had just enough spare time to finish it up, but now I'm off to DC for a week. Unfortunately, in the process of stretching the leather around the gun a good bit of the beautiful bluing came off the barrel shroud... which in this wonderfully humid weather, immediately started rusting. Oh well, lesson learned.

Yeah... it's finished... and not only is it ugly as sin, but when everything dried it was too tight to really work... Have a friend who's actually really good with making holsters, so I'm going to get him to make me something for it soon to show off to yall.

Just left my friend a message asking about making me holsters for both my 4" and 6" EWK guns. Told him there may be some more interested customers too. Hopefully I'll hear back from him soon!
