This gun is in near new condition and has a six-inch non-lug barrel (see pics)

What is the market on these neat rimfire revolvers?  I would like to make an offer that works for me.

Any thoughts?  Thanks!!!

Depending on where you are, that Model 22 could easily sell for $400+. .22 lr revolvers spiked up in the past 12-18 months, and a DW is easily one or two levels of quality above the Taurus/Charter Arms guns currently available in the new and lightly used market. The Taurus/Charter Arms guns are decent, OK quality, a DW is way above them.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I bought my second .22 last week for $450. I love them, fun and cheap to shoot.  Like new, with the box, original paperwork included.

I got into a bidding war for my 22 with an 8" barrel.  I paid $600 but it's gorgeous and I love it.  That's the upper end of what I have seen them go for.  The gun is in excellent condition and a wonderful shooter.  Great trigger, very smooth.  I'm glad I've got it.  Find a price that works for you and make an offer.  I wouldn't feel bad about getting a 6" 22 for $400.  buy-now

If it is local go low knowing your top! Or just ask bottom dollar that gives you room on these.  If you both walk away happy then all is good.  poke

Thanks for all the great feedback!  Much appreciated!!

95XL883,

If you would like to come up north a bit (Smithville Area) we might enjoy shooting some DWs (and others!)

DWA_Midwest,

Are you in the KC Area too?  This range we have is fun and may be worth a drive...maybe we set up a DW shoot??

Nice range you got there Vonfatman. And who is the tall guy standing next to ya?poke

Anyway I recently snagged the identical model 22 for $350 OTD but that was an awesome deal IMHO. They usually run from $400.00 to $600.00 depending on location and the wind direction. I also will throw in my standard comment. The only gun purchase I ever regretted are the ones I passed on. Good luck.

Thanks LB….good thoughts.

The short guy is a real task-master!  But he did start shooting with me in late-August.  Bought a Savage Cub last year (for him and other young'uns) and he loves it!!

I'm up for a roadtrip once past 9/15 (tax filing deadlineyell).  Nice looking range.  I've got a very well mannered 13 year old who loves to shoot.  If you don't mind, I'll bring him along.

Wish I was close, I have 1st grader grandson that I bought a Zastava youth model bolt action for last year when I came across it NIB $110.xx out the door.

It came with a dummy magazine for single shot use and a 5 round standard magazine. I put a scope on the rifle (I started at 6 wiith scoped rifle) and it does fuzzy hole 5 shot groups at 25 yards so I'm please with the little rifle.

Here's the little Mosseberg 142A I started with 60 years ago with Weaver K-4 scope. Sling wore out about 50 years ago, never replaced it.

95XL883,

Bring that young man with you!!  Sent you a PM

Waldo,

If you ever find yourself heading to KC...just send me a PM and we will make it happen.  I live 15 minutes from the Kansas City Intl. Airport...I have some guns we can shoot!

Man I'd love to, sounds like a blast. But we seldom ever get to Springfield, let alone west of there now days.
