Welcome to the Supermag world, I've had mine since 1992 and love it.  It's neat to be able to shoot the gong at 200yds with a pistol, while others are trying to hit it with their rifle.  Keep your bullets heavy 170 to 200gr and it'll last you a very long time.post-picswelcome

In my area, shooting a propane tank would be preceded by " Hey y'all watch this!!" big-grin

Wisdom is merely the realization of how little one knows, therefore I am wise.

laughing  I make sure to leave the valve open for a while first, usually about 2 weeks is enough to do the trick.laugh
BTW that there copper "flower" was done with a .445 hollow point. It spit all the lead inside & left the jacket right there.screwy

Followed closely by "but first let's finish off the six pack" ?

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

My best day ever at the range was when I brought my 357Supermag to the range with the 6" barrel and was shooting at 25yds to check the sight, as it usually wears an 8" and I watched a couple of guys spraying all around the gong at 200yds with AK's.  When they stopped to reload their 30 round mags, I took aim and rang the gong twice with the DW.  I proceeded to empty the gun and get ready to leave when the shooters came running over to see what kind of pistol I was shooting.  I gave them a quick history of the 357SM and DW and left.  I'm not that good a shot and I'm usually lucky to get 1 or 2 out of 6 to ring the gong from a non rest stance with the 8" barrel that I usually shoot with, of course they'll never know that, and I get to become a bit of range history.proud-to-be-an-americanbig-grinbig-grin

I would have loved to have seen the looks on their face when you rang the gong with a 6" Revolver!
