OfflineWe've had several family guests over the past several weeks. The Wife must have noticed I was in gun smoke withdrawal. When she was planning on taking her Daughter to play tourist she insisted I pack up some guns, and they'd drop me off at the range for a couple of hours and then pick me up on the way home.
73 degrees and hazy sunshine. I took the Dan Wesson .22 with 6VH and Dan Wesson 15 (.357) 6V along with a couple of S&Ws. It was a great day! I only had to share the 100-yard range with one nice guy. Shoot 6 rounds of .22 and then 6 rounds of mild .357, repeat. The .357 loads were some old Speer swaged 158 bullets.
Must be old age, but I kept having trouble thinking S&W 15 and DW 15 back and forth. The S&W got fed Nosler 125 JHP. The gun was an Aunt's husband's and when he passed away, she gave me the gun. The companion gun was a S&W 63. Shoot 6 rounds of .22 and then 6 rounds of .38, repeat.
