What would any of you pay for a like new 8" monson mass. 357 super mag. There is a box manual and the envolope for the tool but no tool. This revolver does not even have a ring around the cylinder. I don't trust my judgement whenit comes to a super mag. Thanks

The current going rate for a Monson

supermag is between $650 and $950 for the blued and about $50 to $100 more for stainless, yours sounds like it would be on the upper end.post-pics

Only thing that might show any wear would be under a clamp on scope mount on the rib. It also has a weaver 2x on it but i try to not pay attention to extra's.  Yhe shop is asking 875 I figure it could come down a bit just don't know if I am willing to spend even 800 for it.

You'll love the gun if you get it.  It's almost as easy to shoot as a .22 Magnum.

The 357 Supermag is a joy to shoot!  That sounds like a fair price with the box.

Shooting4life got a definite gtdw for sure on that buy.

Saw 6 dan's at the swappers meet, only one SuperMag which was a minty

357max with Burris clamp mount, older 2x Weaver scope and a Pach grip

for $700.

S4L, very nice.  Definitely gtdw.  I've got more than that in my 740.

So Blacktop, did that deal come home with you, hmmm?  Inquiring minds want to know.

Sadly no it did not, I already own a Max (like that is any kind of excuse)

and have to admit I have wandered greatly from the path of the Dan

lately surprised

I must say it..yes I'm a gun slut and have been scratching a military and

tactical muntion's itch lately not to mention hoarding large cans of ammo embarassed

I have'nt sold any of the three Dans I have so there may be hope for me yet.

Same here. Only at the time of purchase, mine was an unfired 40. I know, I probably should have held out for a better deal. But I have admired these 40's for half my adult life & wasn't gonna let this one slip away.

I ran 17 rounds down the pipe when I got it home, then cleaned it up & made a soft place for it to nuzzle into...those are the last 3 from the first box-o-20.lol2  (it's only had 20 more since then, even though I currently have 100 rounds loaded)

Then, as per the dwas condition, I have since added a couple BA's. Now I'm at double what S4L paid for his two.embarassed

So there's one example of why my gtdw deals are few & far between. BUT. Even though I may have overpaid on some of mine, I have no regrets today. I can go fondle & shoot them whenever the itch starts itching...which is much better (IMO) than merely looking at pics & wishing. Now if only I didn't keep wishing for more of these dang DW's...yeesh!screwy dwas rofl

One more, just cuz. This one is with one of LB's fantastic first grips...yes, way back when LB was merely known as "LB" & not known as "The Grip Master" of thedwf-sign !!  worship   hehe laugh

Sorry for the long & lengthy post, I got caught up reminiscing over my 40 pic stash & thought "what the heck". embarassed  My bad.whipping
