When I went to the range the other day I pulled the trigger on my model 15, and nothing happened. I did this several times with the same result. My first idea was that the firing pin was broken, but I cocked back the hammer and pressed on the plate connected to the pin and the pin extended in perfect condition. I field stripped my revolver and found a small spring had fallen out and was in the frame bent, and that a small crescent shaped bar with a peg at its "head" had been sheared off. Can anyone shed some light on what these parts are so I can replace them?

Try this link. Sounds like the strut and associated pieces. iI not a picture will help identify. Somebody here will know for sure.

Here's a picture of the piecesImage Enlarger

As I said before I have no idea what these parts are or how to re-essemble them once I get replacements. Any help will be appreciated.

OK, the duct tape had me going for a minute. I am still not sure but it might be half of a broken connector ( transfer bar). I do not have a 15 with me to look. Here are some more pictures that may help.

Yep, that is the transfer bar and hand spring. Hand spring is no problem, EWK (Eric) can sell you one of those.  If you can't find a transfer bar, I have an extra I may be willing to sell.

Glad your all fixed up.  Got to ask...what model camera did you use to take

that photo ?  I can literally see the pores of the metal with that close up. Surprised
