Well I finally got to take my 15-2 with the 8in barrel out to the range yesterday and let me say I was very impressed! I was in a car accident and my left arm is in a full arm cast so one handed at the 3yd, 10m, and 7yd mark I kept everything in the bullseye and the next ring out the 10 ring on your standard target that you get free when you go to the range.  Really wish i would have gotten some phone pics but i didnt think about it im ready to go back again.  By far my favorite gun that I own to shoot.

Congratz on a great shoot... I am thinking that reloading was rather slow!

Soap Box, Ballot Box, Ammo Box

in that order.

Yea it was great and Pinetor it was quite a task loading and unloading the gun lol, ill try and get some pics next time.

I did have one question though i noticed if i cocked back the hammer and shot it single action style it shot great if i just pulled the trigger and shot it double action it would miss a shot sometimes and id have to go back around.  What part could be messed up or broken? I plan on taking it apart and cleaning and inspecting everything so id kinda like to know what to look out for. (Which should be another fun one handed job ha ha)

Thanks

As DrSparky said, a good cleaning and some new springs should have you back in business.

As these guys have said, do this...then report back.laugh

A bunch of gunk in the action will very often make a DW do what you're describing. A good scrubbing will make it behave like a new gun again.

Sounds like you are enjoying your DW -- Give it a good cleaning when you have time--she'll run fine.
