Does EWK sell barrel shrouds yet? I'm looking for a VH4 shroud, but hate to pay what Dan Wesson wants for it. I'm stiil using a shroud from my 22 for IDPA competition.

I don't think EWK is selling just yet.  I think it will be soon though.  I would suggest looking at GunBroker.  4" Barrel Assemblies can be had much cheaper there than purchasing a new one from DW.
Just an idea...

Yes, Jody is right, not quite yet, but I sure hope to very soon. Shooting for end of this month to start having some of them available. The ones in process are 2.5-15" VH, so should just be what you're looking for!

Oh no, no pressure at all! 
SS would be as soon as I get material ordered. Want to get the blued ones done first so at least we'll have some results and not yet another thing on the "working on it" list.

Very cool Eric! It is great that we have such dedicated DW fans like you and LB making custom parts. It has revived my interest in my 744 that has been in the back of the safe for a couple of years. Stainless shrouds and zebra grips...oh yeah! GJ44
