Hello folks,
I just picked up my first DW. It is a Model 40-V8S. It came with an extra barrel that I believe is a V8H. I was wondering if the barrels from a 357 mag would fit the frame. I would like a 4" barrel. Why? I dont know. Thanks for any help.

Hey Brad,
I'm in the same boat as you. Just look through the threads and you will find plenty of information on the barrels. Everyone is very helpful on this forum.
I asked the same question a couple of days ago. Just look for my posts and you will you find the info you need.

Welcome and no the 357 mag barrels will not work at all! 4" is a dream, maybe special order or something. Only 357 max barrels will work! This question was asked a while back and a picture was shown for comparison! Large frame (Max) small frame (357mag or model 15-2)
