Hi everyone,

I'm new to the site and I need advise. I have a DW 715 with 2 1/2" and 6'" VH barrels and the same in .22lr. I would like to add Millett white outline rear sights to both. I have been searching the web and cannot find them. Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks for any help,

Robert 77

Welcome to the DWF Sign!!!

They are like Unicorns.... you hear of them, but never see them Laugh....  Millett quick making them a while ago and they are very scarce.  If you do find a set, they will probably be in the $50 range anymore.

Good luck !

Welcome and as Shoot said they are few and far between.  They will show up at times on the auctions.     Good luck!     Now show us some pics of your Dan's!!!

Millet Rear Sights for a Dan Wesson are one of the very few items that I will bid pretty agressively on if I see them on auction. You find them so rarely, you need to get them whenever you can.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Didn't we have a discussion recently and the millet sights for a Ruger Blackhack will fit the DW's?

Stock Ruger Blackhawk sights fit fine, so I assume the Ruger/Millet would work also.

Thank you to all who have tried to help. I am currently investigating Kensight, who I was told may be able to help with an Eliason adjustabler Tritium white dot. Haven't been able to reach anybody yet, but when I do I will let all of you know. Maybe it's a deadend, but I will try and perhaps we will all benefit. I hope so. As far as pics, I am still in the works with this digital stuff and when I sort it out I will post my DW .357, .22 and black Valor VBOB.

Thank you guys, you are very supportive.

I sent my 715-2 to a company called Tooltech to have Trijicon night sights installed. The rear was adjustable. Not cheap but it's exactly what I wanted.

Yep, I posted them somewhere.... I'll see if I can find them today.  The stock Blackhawk sight is a true drop in.  same springs, screw, pin, etc.

Midway has blackhawk sights.  Just under $16.00.  I got 2 of these in yesterday.  I plan on installing one this weekend.

Pins and screws line up.  Shank is just a bit wider on the DW (.308") than the Rooger (.300"), so it should fit right in there.  The block is a tad smaller on the Rooger, but that's just asthetics.  Sight recess on the Rooger is just a bit deeper (.240") than the DW (.220") but shouldn't matter unless you're completely bottomed out:

Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....
