OfflineWith no photos to go on we can only speculate. Assuming youâre talking about looking down the barrel with a bright light; yes, it would seem that the cylinder rotation is coming up a little short. When you say âindexesâ are you certain the cylinder is locked in place by the bolt, or do you have to turn the cylinder by hand to complete the lockup, and if this rotation is then complete, is proper alignment achieved? If this is the case, replacing the hand should remedy the problem. However, a very badly bent crane could also cause the mis-alignment youâre speaking of with the bolt locked in bolt cuts. If a few very clear photos could be submitted it would greatly assist with a correct diagnosis.
