I believe the only other difference you will find is most M14's were done in a matt finish where most M15's are a deep ancestral Blue.Wink  They will interchange though, only the POA may/will be off some.

I assume we're talking about the non-Porkchop Model 14's, the 14-2's?  

As LB said, most M14's were made with the matte blue finish, although the glossy "ancestral" finish was available as an option for a while.Laugh  From what I've seen so far, they were only available in the standard (non-heavy lug) style, lower front sights (pinned, with no colored inserts), and the 14 shrouds also had the top rail machined about half as tall as the 15's.The lower top rail also means that no 14's were available with the optional vent slots in the rail, as was available on the 15's.
