I've I'm not mistaken the Blue Book of Gun Values list both a model 414 and 7414.  I personally have never seen a picture of a Model 414 (blued version) before.

Does anyone know if they exist?

What year did the 414 come out?  I can look through my collection of books.

They first introduced the 414 SuperMag at the Palmer facility which was in operation between 1992 – 1995.  Since they only made 25 I would bet it was closer to the end of production there.

The 7414 I have is a first production run gun from Norwich.

Thanks for looking!

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Well if they made it, I can't find a picture.  There are references to one in blue (carbon steel).  I went through all my shooters bibles--I'll have to look at my G&A collection next.

LOL!rofl

Come to think of it, I haven't seen a blued 414 either. I'm interested in finding out the results on this too. I guess it could easily be the opposite of the .375, which were only available in blue.

"If" the 414 was made in blue it's a rare one.

My 414 is a Norwich/CZ gun in stainless steel.

The 414 is like a 4 leaf clover, a few are out there but rare.

I was lucky to order mine when I did. Otherwise I would still be looking

And me...plus, I don't have a 445 yet either. At least that one's easier to find.

Guys, I'm not sure they made enough 414 SuperMags to go around!  Maybe they will start producing revolvers around some day!

They only made 25 at the Palmer plant and we have estimates the they probably made 100 or less at the Norwich facility.

4 leaf clovers are easy to find in comparison. 414s are a rare and elusive creature rarely seen in captivity. The guys here probably account for a good portion that exist. Except me of course.Cry

The 25 from the Palmer plant were all stainless. Dan Wesson PLANNED to make both blue and stainless versions, and thus released press reports stating that. Those press releases are what made it into the gun catalogs. You'll see many other references to different guns that were never made available to the public in those Blue Books and Shooter's Digests.
