there have been a lot of info collected on serial numbers. Has any one got dateing info on the box types for the revolvers such as the brown boxes that have come up on ebay or the white foam and brown foam packs with sleeves and then when did the first p- packs come out? Thanks for any input.

I don't know about the rest of these guys, but I'm fairly clueless as to box dates so far. I know what some of the earliest ones look like & the Palmer styrofoam-n-sleeve seems to be fairly standard, but that's about it.
I can answer the other question, though. The Pistol Pacs were available right from the start in 1970, with the Model 12's.
