The days of model 40s for 900 and 740s for 1100 are gone. With that being said, the 2500 is an anomoly. But in a year or two it may be the norm.

Can't see provided listings as it too old. Found couple, but all of them Model 40 (795315031 - $1702) or other blued ones. Question about this one, Stainless, "First Issue" with very low serial. What it bring to the value ?

I would think on gunbroker from 1400 to 1900, depends on which way the wind blows. Seems to me a lower starting price breeds competition between bidders and sometimes that results in the higher price. Just what I think, for what that's worth.

A little history. Monson model 40 and 740(stainless) were the first Supermags. Some folks think the were superior to later production. They may have been rollmarked Monson but all large frame and supermags were made at the Palmer facility. The First Issue guns made in Norwich were different in that they were made on CNC machines. They were made in less numbers than Monson or Palmer.

I believe Serva made a mistake in numbering the shrouds also. It is impossible to get matching BAs. There is a premium for the Norwich guns on 1/4 Crescent moons and the second full moon in a month. That means maybe.
