Is DW using the same frame for their old .22 and .357 Magnum? If so is it possible to change the barrel/shroud, Cylinder/crane and some items in the firing mechanism and be able to shoot .22 LR as well?

With enough money, anything is possible.  It's not practical or frugal to do that and could lead to a dangerous situation if you had a .357 ready to send down a .22 barrel.wow

15-2s are so readily available and low cost, it would be cheaper to just have two guns.  Safer too.

Frame/Barrel threads are different on 22 & 357.

I agree with Ron. Bad investment!. Spend the money on separate guns.
