I have a model 15 with a pinned front sight 6 inch standard shroud no allen in front of shroud. If I order a optic from EWK will it fit and can I drill out the optic myself or do I need a smith to do so? thanks guys would like some input.

The sight will fit but you will need a drill press to drill it. Â You can't do it with a hand-held drill. Â After you take off the original sight, put the new one in the slot and carefully mark the sight through the roll pin hole. Â Drill it, deburr it, and pin it on. Â That's all a gunsmith will do.
