Bought this last week and was wondering if these scratches can be "buffed" out?  The one on the muzzle end will snag a fingernail and bothers me the most.

Scotch-bright works very well. Here is a pac with 3 different types from course to fine. Deeper scratches use course and work up to the fine. Lighter just use white. I did use a bit of WD-40 on the pad. I do know some members use wet/dry sand paper on deeper scratches. I never had to use them. The Scotch-bright pads made my barrels look great! The white and grey pads are hard to find but this multi pac on Amazon is a good deal!Screenshot-2024-06-18-4.46.13-PM.pngImage Enlarger

Yes, Stan is correct, use the various Scotch Brite pads to work the scratches out.  Will be as good as new!

What ever you do, NEVER use regular steel wool on stainless guns. The microscopic particles of the steel wool penetrate the softer stainless and introduce black corrosion into the stainless. Stainless steel sponge or wool is okay..

If the scratches are deep enough to catch a nail, use a wet/dry paper @ about 320 or 400 grit just enough to blend the scratch.  320 should match the shroud finish pretty closely, then blend everything together with the Scotch Brite.  Stay off the laser etching and logos as much as possible.
