Would anyone be able to post a photo of a Barrel Tool/Wrench for the Model 11 Dan Wesson? If possible show a tape measure or scale of some sort.
I need a wrench and can not find one. So I am considering making a tool or having one made.

I'm not familiar with the mod 11; does it have the external hexhead nut? If so, the wrench was a sheetmetal oval with a hex head opening on one end and allen wrenches attached to the opposite end. They come up on Ebay occasionally.

You don't need a special wrench. The nut is just a 12-point instead of a conventional 6-point, which makes it look unique. A standard 5/8″ 12-point box end wrench works perfectly on the external nuts as found on the models 11 & 12.
If you want the factory wrench in order to have original accessories then that's a different matter, but if your goal is to remove the barrel then you probably already have what you need in your tool box. You will need a .005" or .006" feeler gauge in order to reinstall the barrel though.
