Thanks to Eric I removed barrel today. Came off slick as can be. Looks good to me, but then again not sure what, if anything, to lookout for.   Any advice ?Image Enlarger

It's that easy, Looks good from here, just be sure to set the cylinder gap when you put her back together. .006 is factory spec, most of us take it down some more around .003 or .002 just check all 6 cylinders, as most cylinders are not perfectly true. A simple feeler gauge is all you need. You probably knew all this already anyhow, but I threw it out here just in case. Happy tinkering.Smile

Eric makes some pretty darn nice barrel wrenches, huh?Laugh

The gun pieces look pretty nice from here. The threads don't look like they've been screwed apart often at all, this may be it's first time apart since it left the factory.

Thanks LB, I remember you mentioned the cylinder before. When I checked I had a .0025 on one side and .0035 on the other. Glad to know this is the norm and nothing to worry about. Even though I am getting POA groups my rear sight is full right. My rear sight adjust easy enough, it moves about 1/8in either way from center, sound right   ? ?

Hoping a little turn of barrel might bring rear sight back to center.

I have tried several times clicking on his contact to get info on cost and payment, but I always told I need to log in even though I am logged in and have posted.

What's up?

Eric charged me $23. But then, I just live down the road from him. Not sure if that makes any difference, it might on shipping.

Guys, I also received a wrench from Eric last week for my SuperMags.  All I can say is very nice design and the quality was excellent.  If you have the original Dan Wesson plastic wrenches I would strongly recommend you put those up as they can be fragile and get yourself one of Eric's.
